It's St. Patrick's
Leprechaun Contest time!
Leadership Dublin-Laurens County would like to invite you to participate in the 56th Annual Leprechaun Contest. The grade span is 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades with 4 boys and 4 girls from grade one and 3 boys and 3 girls from 2nd and 3rd grades.
The contest will be held at The Dublin High School Auditorium on Tuesday, March 14th at 6:00 PM. First, second, and third grade students from Dublin City Schools, Laurens County Schools, Trinity Christian School and home-schooled students are invited to participate. Each school will select the appropriate number of students the identified grades to represent the school.
The contestants chosen from each school will compete against other children from their age group and will be judged based on makeup, originality, authenticity, imagination and general appearance. In the interest of safety, no contestant will be allowed to use a prop that cannot be handled by the child without assistance. No recitations, songs, poems, or dances are allowed. The top three boys and three girls from each grade will receive trophies. In addition, the top winners will be invited to ride in the St. Patrick’s Parade.
Your participation in the Leprechaun Contest will continue to support its success. Leadership Dublin-Laurens County enjoys sponsoring this event and looks forward to another exciting evening of fun and fellowship.
