Katie Garman | Treasurer Bank Of Dudley Class of 2025 Branch manager and trainer at the Downtown location for nearly three years. A Washington state native who has lived in Georgia since 2022, she has attended multiple Global Leadership Summits. Married to Tim, with four adult children. Member of the Dublin Civitan Club.

Matthew Taylor | Service Project Chair Middle Georgia Preparatory Academy Class of 2026 Matt honorably serves as the Executive Director and School Leader of Middle Georgia Preparatory Academy. A graduate of West Laurens High School, he began his career as a classroom teacher after earning his degree from Middle Georgia College, now Middle Georgia State University. He later continued his education at Georgia College & State University and Georgia Southern University, earning advanced degrees in Elementary Education and Educational Leadership. Throughout his career, Matt has served students and families across the Dublin-Laurens community, including roles at Susie Dasher Elementary, Southwest Laurens Elementary, and most recently as Principal of the Irish Gifted Academy. His work as an educator earned him recognition as the Laurens County School System Teacher of the Year and a Georgia Teacher of the Year Finalist in 2022. Matt is passionate about ensuring every child has access to meaningful, high-quality opportunities and believes deeply in the power of education to transform lives and strengthen communities. In addition to his work in education, Matt is a local real estate agent with Chelle Realty. He enjoys golf, gardening, and spending time with his family. Matt and his family attend Christ Chapel Dublin. He and his wife, Taylor, are the proud parents of three boys.

Jason Keyton | Socials Chair J Keyton Salon Class of 2024 Jason Keyton is the owner and operator of J Keyton Salon in Downtown Dublin, where he has built a successful career as a business owner for more than 30 years. A Johnson County native, Jason attended Georgia Southern University before graduating from Dublin School of Hair Design and continuing his training at the Redken Exchange in New York City. A graduate of the 2024 Leadership Dublin-Laurens class, Jason is actively involved in Downtown Dublin and the broader community. He serves as Director of Business Development for the Dublin Downtown Development Authority, chairs the Downtown Dublin Main Street Advisory Council, and is a member of the Dublin-Laurens Chamber of Commerce and Rotary Club of Dublin. He also serves as Co-Chair of the Irish Balloon Festival and President of the Thundering Springs HOA. His past community service includes co-chairing the Dublin-Laurens St. Patrick’s Festival, serving with the Dublin Exchange Club, and serving on the board of the Dublin-Laurens Arts Council. Jason is married to Aubrey Keyton and is the proud father of Amelia Claire. He attends Connection Church in Downtown Dublin and enjoys cheering on Georgia Bulldog football, fishing, hunting, golfing, playing piano and guitar, and renovating and designing properties.

Christopher McAfee | Chair Elect Carl Vinson VA Medical Center Class of 2025 Clinical pharmacist at the Carl Vinson VA Medical Center in Dublin, working primarily with veterans in substance use and PTSD treatment. A Laurens County native and East Laurens High School graduate, he earned his Doctor of Pharmacy from South University School of Pharmacy after attending Georgia Southern University. Owns Carat & Calibre with his wife, Piper, and has served on the Pharmacy Technology program advisory board at Oconee Fall Line Technical College.

Jake Dean | Treasurer Elect HD Financial Firm LLC Class of 2024 Managing partner of HD Financial Firm in Dublin and MH Financial CPA Firm in Hamilton, New Jersey, with over a decade of experience in tax strategy, accounting and business consulting. Board member of the Laurens County Cattlemen's Association. Married to Caitlin, with three children.

Renia Cook | Leprechaun Contest Chair City Of Dublin Class of 2026 Renia Cook is the Marketing & Communications Director for the City of Dublin, where she leads public communications, marketing initiatives, and community engagement efforts. Originally from Thomasville, Georgia, Renia has called Dublin home since 2020 and enjoys helping connect people with the programs, services, and opportunities that enhance the community. As a LDLC graduate, Renia was inspired by the program's impact on her own leadership journey and is honored to serve on the Leadership Dublin-Laurens Board. She is actively involved in the nonprofit community, serving on the boards of Widow's Oil Ministry and Made to Be Well, and on the advisory boards for Rise Up and Dublin Main Street. Known for her outgoing personality and love of people, Renia enjoys volunteering, singing, playing the ukulele, golfing with friends at Riverview Golf Course, and discovering unique treasures at estate sales. She previously appeared as Annelle in a local production of Steel Magnolias and is excited to return to the stage when the production returns in 2027. Renia feels blessed to have her parents living in Wrightsville and is grateful to be part of a community she proudly calls home.

David Attaway | Alumni Communications Symphona LLP Class of 2022 David Attaway is an Audit Partner with Symphona LLP on their Dublin, GA office. David moved to Dublin after graduating from Georgia Southern University (BBA Accounting 2009, MAcc 2010). David has spent his professional career with Symphona, focusing on audits and consulting with financial institutions. He is affiliated with multiple professional organizations, including our local chapter of the Georgia Society of CPAs, where he volunteers as a Board member. In addition, David serves on the Financial Institutions Task Force and the Accounting and Auditing Task Force with the Society. David and his wife Kristen have two children, Charlotte and Connor. They are members of Liberty Church, where both volunteer in multiple areas. In their free time, they visit the beach and attend many Georgia Southern sporting events.

Allison Keen | Past Chair Clements and Keen Insurance Class of 2025 Allison is a Health and Life Insurance Agent at Clements and Keen Insurance. She graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and a Masters in Agricultural and Environmental Education, with a focus in Personal and Organizational Leadership. After graduating and working in the agricultural industry, Allison returned to her hometown of Dublin, Georgia to join her family’s business. She currently serves as a Laurens Youth Leadership board member. Allison is a member of Dublin First Church of the Nazarene and enjoys cheering on the dawgs in her free time.

Chris Lewis | Programs Chair Dublin City Schools Class of 2024 Assistant principal at Susie Dasher Elementary for four years, previously a fourth-grade math teacher. A 2007 honor graduate of Dublin City Schools, serving his first year on the board. Married to Bridges Lewis, with bonus daughter Journi Bostic.

Miriam Lewis | Marketing & Social Media Chair Visit Dublin GA Class of 2023 A destination veteran, Miriam Lewis joined Visit Dublin GA in 2015 and transitioned into the Executive Director role in 2022. She oversees Dublin Visitors Center operations and staff, leads tourism marketing and communications for Dublin and Laurens County, and works to strengthen the local tourism industry through strategic partnerships and initiatives. Miriam is a 2017 graduate of the Georgia Academy for Economic Development and earned her Destination Leadership – Fundamentals of Tourism certification through the University of Georgia and the Carl Vinson Institute of Government in 2023. In 2024, the Dublin Laurens St. Patrick’s Committee named her an Honorary Leprechaun. She also serves on the board of Friends of Carnegie. Outside of her professional role, Miriam volunteers with Read to Lead, where she mentors students. A lover of the outdoors and all things that flower, she is also a member of the Dublin Daylily Club and Erin Garden Club. Miriam and her husband, Chris Lewis, share four children.

Eriana Jackson | Alumni Communications Elect Oconee Fall Line Technical College Class of 2026 Eriana Jackson currently serves as the Academic Advisement Center Coordinator at Oconee Fall Line Technical College. A proud graduate of Dublin High School, Eriana continued her education at Middle Georgia State University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Public/Human Services in 2021. She later earned her Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership, with a concentration in Higher Education, from Kennesaw State University. Eriana has a strong passion for serving others and is committed to helping students navigate their educational journeys and reach their goals. She is dedicated to creating meaningful connections and providing support that encourages student success. Eriana is married to Octavia Jackson, and together they have one daughter. Outside of her professional responsibilities, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and reading.

Jacquelynne Bailey | Secretary Symphona LLP Class of 2026 Jacquelynne Bailey is a Tax Manager with Symphona LLP in their Dublin office and has worked in public accounting since 2016. She provides tax compliance and advisory services to individuals and businesses, with specialized experience serving financial institutions and nonprofit organizations. Jacquelynne is a graduate of the Dublin–Laurens County Leadership program and a participant in Symphona’s LEADS leadership-development program. She is passionate about professional growth, community involvement, and helping strengthen connections among local businesses and organizations. She is honored to serve on the Dublin–Laurens County Leadership Board and looks forward to supporting future leaders in the community. Jacquelynne earned her BBA Accounting and BBA Finance from Georgia Southern University in 2016. Outside of work, she enjoys sending time with family.

Ashley Black | Programs Chair Elect RISE UP Dublin Class of 2026 Ashley Black is a dedicated community leader and advocate for recovery and positive change in Dublin-Laurens County. She has called the community home since 2017 and has been employed with the Community Service Board of Middle Georgia since 2019. Ashley currently serves as the Addiction Recovery Support Center Coordinator / Executive Director for RISEUP’s three locations, where she works to expand recovery resources, build community partnerships, and create supportive opportunities for individuals and families. She serves as Chair of the RISEUP Advisory Board and is a Board Member of the DBHDD State CIT Advisory Board. Ashley is also a proud member of the Visit Dublin GA Community Advocate Program. Outside of her professional life, Ashley enjoys spending time with her fiancé, Tripp. Together, they attend Liberty Church, where Ashley volunteers with the kids ministry and helps with various church events throughout the year. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, trips to the beach, and making memories with their three fur babies, Coco Chanel, Kiki, and Luna.
